Print Edition Calendar Submission

The following form should be used to submit announcements to Big Island Weekly’s print edition calendar section. If you would like your event to appear on our online event calendar, click here to submit your event. Before completing the form, we recommend you review our calendar sections to see how announcements appear in print.

Please fill out all fields. Send your announcement at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. While Big Island Weekly makes every effort to accommodate announcements submitted by the community, publication is not guaranteed. Preference is given to free events that are open to the public.

This is intended for community use only and should not be used to submit spam, business solicitations or press releases about events or activities that do not occur on the Big Island.

Describe your event briefly and include any cost. If this is an ongoing event, please put "Ongoing" in your description and the dates. ie: "Ongoing - every Wednesday". Please note that this field is limited to 40 words, so keep it short. DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPITALS, or use unnecessary abbreviations.
